Some of F&P Partners' background experiences at grassroots level encompass direct technical assistance to artisans in very remote rural areas.

 


From top to bottom: 

  • Mwanza Region (Tanzania): one of the nine ujama-village blacksmith units assisted

  • Bukoba Region (Tanzania): supply of metal scrap as raw material for hand tools manufacturing
  • Mambilla Plateau (Nigeria): a woodworking facility assisted


The experience gained led the partners of F&P to develop the concept of Rural Service Unit (RSU).
